Call for Doctoral Students Presentations
On Sunday June 30, 2024, the ATRIP Congress will host a special session for doctoral students’ presentations. Any doctoral degree student, such as PhD, SJD, and JD, is welcome to participate on this session.
At this session, doctoral students in the field of intellectual property law will present concisely their research. Each short presentation will be followed by a comment by a senior scholar and a discussion. At the end of the session, a special ATRIP committee will vote on the Doctoral Student Best Presentation Prizes.
Doctoral students from all academic institutions worldwide are invited to submit a proposal for presenting at this session.
The proposal should include:
- Full name and email address;
- Name of the academic institution in which the doctoral studies are carried out;
- Name of the supervisor/s;
- Title of the research;
- Short abstract of maximum 400 words;
- CV
Proposals should be submitted no later than March 30, 2024, to Prof. Orit Fischman-Afori at forit@colman.ac.il.
Please indicate “ATRIP Doctoral Presentation + your name” in the subject line.
Notification of the outcome of the selection process will be sent by the end of April 2024. The selected doctoral students will need to send an extended abstract of maximum 1500 words by June 1, 2024, as a precondition to participating at the session.
ATRIP will not cover travel costs, therefore the doctoral students selected to present at this session must make their own arrangements to attend the conference in person in Rome.
